About the role#
Orion180 offers a Summer 2027 internship program for students interested in the insurance and insurtech industry. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity. You will work alongside professionals on meaningful projects within departments including Accounting and Finance, Claims, Customer Experience, Data Science, Sales, Product, and Specialty Risk. This program provides hands-on experience and professional development in a collaborative office environment.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside experienced professionals on real projects.
- Support department-specific operations and initiatives.
- Participate in professional development sessions.
- Engage with mentors and senior leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Strong academic performance in a relevant field of study such as Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools like Python, SQL, and Power BI is a plus.
- A proactive and curious mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
