About the role#
As an Institutional Trader Intern at Optiver, you will spend the summer working on our trading floor. You will learn from experienced traders through a mix of classroom education and hands-on work in live market conditions. The program lasts 10 weeks and provides insight into how markets move and how our traders execute strategies. You will test your ideas and sharpen your decision-making while working with peers and mentors to solve market challenges.

What you'll need#
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science.
- You are on track to graduate between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You possess strong communication skills and self-assurance.
- You have the ability and interest in building and maintaining trading relationships.
- You demonstrate superior quantitative and logical reasoning skills.
