Intern, Payment Operations Analyst

About the role#

One Inc is seeking a Payment Operations Analyst Intern to support the transition from Excel-based project tracking to a streamlined, Jira-based system. This role focuses on implementing scalable workflows to manage Payment Operations projects more effectively. You will own a dedicated project throughout the internship, culminating in a presentation on your findings and contributions.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the Payment Operations team to analyze current intake and tracking processes.
• Configure Jira to support project intake, task tracking, and reporting requirements.
• Provide recommendations for Jira workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and automation.
• Develop user-friendly dashboards and reports in PowerBI to communicate project progress and key updates to leadership.
• Document Jira setups and processes, and provide training to team members.
• Validate card network financial data to ensure internal systems accurately reflect ecosystem dynamics.

What you'll need#

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions, SQL-based macros or queries, and experience with Data Query or Power Query.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate data-driven challenges.
• Ability to create clear documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
