    About the role#

    This internship is part of the DoD SkillBridge program at the East Distribution Operations Center in Irving, Texas. Interns gain real-world training and electric utility industry knowledge while overseeing the delivery of electrical power from substations to customers.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor and control the distribution system to ensure a reliable and efficient supply of power to customers.
    • Respond to power outages.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues.
    • Coordinate with distribution crews to restore power during disruptions.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
    • Strong technical skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
