About the role#
This internship focuses on the design of high performance transistor level circuits. You will work on key circuit blocks within an analog signal processing chain, supporting applications like LiDAR, 5G, and wireless or wireline communications. You will contribute to circuits that meet specific ADC or DAC requirements and overall signal chain performance.
What you'll do#
- Design transistor level circuits for analog signal processing.
- Manage your own tasks to meet project schedules.
- Communicate your progress and findings through written and verbal updates.
- Seek help proactively when needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Analog or Mixed-Signal circuit design.
- Knowledge of circuit building blocks like amplifiers, bandgap references, comparators, feedback-OTAs, and switched-capacitor circuits.
- Understanding of transistor-level design, including feedback, noise, and mismatch analysis.
- Experience with Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, and Spectre or HSPICE simulation tools.
- Familiarity with data converter design, PLLs, or oscillators is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Milpitas, California.
- The term is rolling.
