Omni Design Technologies is seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineering Intern to contribute to the development of high-performance transistor-level circuits. This role focuses on key circuit blocks within analog signal processing chains for applications including LiDAR, 5G, and wireless/wireline communications.
What you'll do#
- Design high-performance transistor-level circuits critical to meeting ADC/DAC specifications and signal-chain performance.
- Work independently to meet project schedules.
- Communicate technical information effectively through written and verbal channels.
- Seek assistance proactively when needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Analog/Mixed-Signal circuit design.
- Strong understanding of fundamental circuit building blocks, including bandgap references, amplifiers, feedback-OTAs, comparators, and switched-capacitor circuits.
- Analytical understanding of transistor-level circuit design, specifically regarding feedback, noise, and mismatch analysis.
- Proficiency with Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, and Spectre or HSPICE simulation tools.
- Familiarity with ADC/DAC data converter design, PLLs, and oscillators is preferred.
