About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work directly with photolithography equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will support senior engineers and maintenance technicians with daily operations, equipment troubleshooting, and routine maintenance tasks. This role is a full-time, on-site position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of semiconductor products.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and routine maintenance alongside technicians.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and documentation for continuous improvement projects.
- Support factory activities by setting up experiments, collecting data, and interpreting results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Participate in technical reviews and problem-solving discussions.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- A strong academic record and a genuine interest in semiconductors, electronics, or embedded systems.
- Eagerness to gain hands-on experience working directly on semiconductor equipment.
- A basic understanding of digital or analog electronics, statistical process control, and Six Sigma concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
