About the role#
Nucor Detailing Center and Vulcraft are seeking students for our 2027 Drafting/Modeling Summer Internship. This program introduces you to steel structures and steel detailing. You will work on-site in Norfolk, Nebraska. This is a full-time, paid position running from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Structural or Architectural Drafting or a related field.
- Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices.
- Experience with CAD and Microsoft Office software.
- A recommendation from your drafting instructor.
