Financial Analyst Commercial Sales- Summer Internship

About the role#

This summer internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience within the Automotive Glass Replacement division. You will contribute to financial reporting, analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration to support sales initiatives and profitability.

What you'll do#

• Compile and analyze financial data to support sales initiatives and assess performance against targets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and support financial models to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Prepare journal entries as part of the month-end close process.
• Analyze service center performance, including cost-to-serve, profit and loss statements, and key ratio analysis.
• Collaborate with sales, accounting, and operations departments to ensure accurate reporting and drive business decisions.
• Develop system tools to automate and expedite reporting processes.
• Provide financial data to sales and leadership teams to assist in resolving financially impactful issues.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a BS/BA in accounting, finance, or business analytics.
• Experience in preparing journal entries.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and under direction.
• Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel and query writing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
