About the role#
As an AI Software Engineer Intern, you will define and implement the AI/ML infrastructure that powers the Nirmata Policy Management platform. You will also contribute to the development of new AI-powered features. This role provides hands-on experience with software development projects and mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain AI/ML infrastructure for policy management.
- Develop features driven by AI capabilities.
- Work within a team environment to contribute to a SaaS platform using Java, Go, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Kafka.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
- Academic or project focus on machine learning and data science.
- Experience working with AI Agents and MCP Servers.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and model tuning.
- Knowledge of SLMs, including model design and fine-tuning.
- Interest in Kubernetes and cloud native technologies.
