As a Philanthropy Co-op, you will provide administrative support to the Private Giving Foundation (PGF) team. This role focuses on the day-to-day operations of the foundation, including managing charity relationships, processing donations, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. This is a full-time, 8-month co-op term running from September 2026 to May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and manage administrative documentation for new and existing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate donations, including managing in-kind gift transfers, maintaining databases, and issuing tax receipts.
- Communicate regularly with clients, internal stakeholders, charities, and community partners.
- Support the team with disbursements as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary degree or diploma program in Business Administration, Philosophy, Communications, or Public Health.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-accuracy work.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to think critically and seek out information independently.
