About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op position within the Client Services team at Nicola Wealth. The role is designed for students in their 3rd or 4th year of study to apply their academic knowledge in a professional financial services setting while supporting high-net-worth clients.
What you'll do#
- Ensure client accounts remain compliant by completing all required regulatory documentation.
- Provide administrative expertise and deliver personalized service to clients.
- Execute client requests for non-financial account changes.
- Liaise with custodians and insurance carriers to process requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate client data and perform regular integrity checks for quality control.
- Provide backup support to team members as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Economics, or Business.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-accuracy work.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with a CRM database, with a preference for Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Location & details#
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 to May 2027).
- Modality: On-site (4 days per week in the Vancouver office with 1 day of remote flexibility).
- Compensation: Paid at $26 per hour.
