About the role#
The 2027 Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship at New England Asset Management. You will work across areas such as Portfolio Management, Investments, Investment Systems, Investment Accounting, Portfolio Analytics, and Risk Analytics. The program includes mentorship, a weekly speaker series, training on our business model, and networking opportunities with peers and senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Support the business supervisory process by managing trends and metrics.
- Assist with presentations, projects, and follow-up tasks.
- Take on special projects in various departments.
- Participate in a community outreach program with the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program, ideally as a rising senior in summer 2027.
- Good academic standing.
- An interest in Investments, Portfolio Management, Analytics, Actuarial Science, Relationship Management, Accounting, Risk, or Information Technology.
- A high school degree.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Accounting, or Business.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Discretion with confidential matters and curiosity regarding AI-enabled tools.
- Prior internship experience in Financial Services is a plus.

- Work Modality: Hybrid with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office.
