About the role#
The Creative Services Post-Production Intern supports promotion projects for SportsNet Pittsburgh broadcasts, including Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins games. This role provides hands-on experience in sports media and entertainment marketing within a post-production environment.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Creative Services Producers to learn about writing, editing, and decision-making.
- Assist with production projects for programming, products, and sponsors.
- Research and compile sports news and storylines for scripts and topical promotions.
- Review highlight footage, pull selects, and catalog footage.
- Perform simple editing tasks.
- Collaborate with Designers and Creative Services Writer/Producers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Master’s student in Fall 2026.
- Progress toward a degree in Production, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or TV/Radio/Film.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and MS Office.
- Familiarity with Adobe After Effects and post-production settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
- A solid understanding of the Pittsburgh sports landscape.
- Experience in leadership or team development is a plus.
