Student Placement: Exercise Physiology- Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab

About the role#

This is a non-paid clinical student placement designed to supplement the requirements of an academic program. Applications are reviewed based on department and preceptor availability and existing affiliation agreements with the student's institution.

What you'll do#

• Assist in clinical exercises for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Support patients in their recovery process under supervision.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the medical team.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures during clinical activities.
• Engage with patients to encourage participation in programs.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an academic program related to exercise physiology, kinesiology, health administration, nursing, or a similar field.
• Availability to complete clinical hours as required.
• Ability to follow departmental policies and guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and assist in clinical settings.
