About the role#
NAXO is hiring a Summer Intern to join our Professional Services team. You will support our investigative efforts by handling technically challenging tasks related to cybersecurity and cryptocurrency. You will work closely with our team to solve complex problems and contribute to ongoing research and development.
What you'll do#
- Handle technically challenging cybersecurity and cryptocurrency tasks.
- Develop and document tools to collect, classify, and organize information.
- Conduct cryptocurrency investigations, trace blockchain transactions, and collect aggregated blockchain data.
- Perform open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis.
- Create reports and other materials to summarize your findings.
- Collaborate with the investigative team on various projects.
What you'll need#
- Standing as a rising senior or graduate student.
- Experience using a programming language such as Python.
- Literacy in computer networking and system administration, including the ability to analyze network requests and use virtual machines.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- A basic understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
- Data science experience, advanced programming skills, or experience in OSINT analysis are preferred.
- Prior experience in a cryptocurrency firm, cybersecurity firm, law firm, law enforcement, or intelligence agency is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in New York, New York.
- The internship is for the Summer 2027 term.
