How to get in at National Journal
Intern Insider's per-company playbook.
Applying early gives you a distinct advantage at National Journal, as recruiters often review the first wave of candidates before the applicant pool becomes unmanageable. You gain a significant head start by knowing exactly when a position opens. Reaching out to the right person is often more effective than submitting an application into a general queue. This approach materially improves your response rates compared to standard submissions.
