Your work involves using simulation devices that mimic the gravity conditions found on the Moon, Mars, and the International Space Station.
What you'll do#
- Research the biological effects of microgravity using ground-based simulation devices.
- Perform database testing to support life sciences research.
- Create fluid dynamics models using ANSYS software.
- Compare results from simulation devices with data from actual space flight studies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate (sophomore, junior, or senior), graduate student, or post-doctoral researcher.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with database development or testing.
