Intern, Data Integration - Summer 2026

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity for students in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science to gain hands-on experience within a professional business environment. You will work with the Data Integration team to support internal processes, reporting, and software tool development.

What you'll do#

• Develop tools and procedures to increase the efficiency of routine tasks.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate existing processes.
• Create documentation and manage version control for existing processes.
• Troubleshoot and modify existing software tools.
• Build automatic reporting tools, dashboards, and advanced data analytics.
• Perform ad hoc scripting and data analysis.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Data Science.
• Programming experience in Python and/or Java.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience using version control software such as GitHub or Subversion.
• Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Location: San Diego, California, USA.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time (20-40 hours per week).
• Compensation: Paid position ($25.63 - $48.60 per hour).
• Note: The selected candidate will be employed by a third-party staffing agency.
