About the role#
As a Manufacturing Intern in Process Engineering, you will gain hands-on experience in our production environment. You will work alongside site engineering, operations, and production teams to improve the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our manufacturing processes. This role requires you to spend a significant portion of your time on the production floor to understand how our products are made.
What you'll do#
- Observe day-to-day operations and attend production and control meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve production lines and equipment.
- Support projects focused on process optimization, loss analysis, waste reduction, and production efficiency.
- Analyze production data to identify sources of downtime or material loss and investigate root causes.
- Partner with site teams to develop and implement solutions.
- Lead or participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Update process maps, documentation, training materials, work instructions, and operating manuals.
- Evaluate production and packaging processes to optimize equipment performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong leadership potential and experience in student leadership roles.
- Excellent communication skills, resilience, and adaptability.
- A growth mindset, integrity, and strong data pattern recognition skills.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Available locations: Chicago, IL; Richmond, VA; Portland, OR; Naperville, IL; Twin Falls, ID; and Indianapolis, IN.
