About the role#
As a Safety Intern at Modular Power Solutions, you will join our team for a paid 12-week summer program. You will work alongside HSE Specialists and project teams to support our health, safety, and environmental initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in the modular power infrastructure industry and helps you build a foundation for your professional career.
What you'll do#
- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives.
- Gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations.
- Work closely with HSE Specialists and project teams on daily tasks.
- Apply classroom learning in an active construction environment.
- Develop technical, professional, and leadership skills through mentorship.
- Contribute to meaningful work that supports a strong safety culture.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a closely related discipline.
- Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Rising junior or rising senior status is strongly preferred.
- Ability to spend significant time on active project sites.
- Prior construction or safety-related internship experience is a plus.

- Locations: McKinney, Lewisville, Sherman, and Houston, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Note: This role requires the ability to work in varying environmental conditions on active construction sites, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
