About the role#
The Underwriting Intern will work with the team in Cincinnati to support property insurance underwriting. This is an on-site, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Receive training to assist in the underwriting of property insurance.
- Review and analyze reports to make informed underwriting recommendations.
- Support underwriters with coordinating and processing policies.
- Participate on special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Risk Management and Insurance or a similar field.
- Completion of at least two years of coursework is preferred.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong communication, research, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
