About the role#
Mid-Continent Group is hiring for an IT Intern for the summer of 2027. This 10-week program provides a full understanding of our IT department and how it interacts with other business functions. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our business operations. This position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Participate in IT Agile projects, including development, testing, and documentation.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Assist with database development, SQL query design, and data integration.
- Evaluate and test emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools.
- Support the IT team in troubleshooting and resolving system and application issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, specifically in Computer Science.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through work experience, campus involvement, or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizing skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
