About the role#
MICRO is hiring for a full-time Engineering Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This role is based on-site in Somerset, New Jersey. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines within the medical device industry.
What you'll do#
- Manufacturing Quality Engineering: Assist the team with inspections, data analysis, and investigations to ensure products meet regulatory and company standards.
- Process Engineering: Work with manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency.
- Process Development Engineering: Support process studies, validation activities, and documentation to help establish repeatable manufacturing methods.
- New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design reviews, prototype builds, and testing from concept through production launch.
- Supply Chain Engineering: Help with inventory optimization, data analysis, and supplier-related projects to improve material flow.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

- Term: Fall 2026 (mid-August to mid-December).

- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
