About the role#
Mechanical One is looking for an AP Intern to support our accounting department. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Altamonte Springs, Florida. You will help with accounts payable tasks and general office administration to keep our financial processes running smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Process vendor invoices by verifying information and getting proper authorization.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receive reports.
- Enter invoice data into our accounting software.
- Maintain vendor files and records.
- Assist with check preparation and distribution.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Handle data entry and keep financial records organized.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment or background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in accounting or administrative roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quick Books and BOLT is a plus.
