About the role#
The LIFT Program (Learning Industrial Fundamentals & Trades) offers hands-on experience for individuals interested in manufacturing and production. This program provides exposure to multiple departments within the lifting and rigging industry. You will complete rotational training in wire rope, chain, and inspections while working alongside mentors. This is an opportunity to build technical skills and explore career paths in skilled trades.
What you'll do#
- Review and interpret codes, instructions, and specifications from Fab Tickets.
- Calculate wire rope cut lengths and fitting requirements.
- Select the correct equipment for production tasks.
- Setup, operate, adjust, and maintain wire rope production machinery.
- Select and attach accurate labels and tags to finished products.
- Count, record, and report inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a vocational school or high school.
- Ability to lift or pull at least 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify process.
