About the role#
As a Technical Project Management Intern, you will spend 12 weeks with the Program Management team. You will own a real piece of work and help keep Product, Design, and Engineering teams aligned on projects that ship to Tinder members. You will learn how a high-visibility roadmap is planned, tracked, and delivered.
What you'll do#
- Write weekly status updates for involved teams and leaders.
- Flag issues early for escalation to prevent surprises.
- Build and maintain project timelines, track dependencies, and manage the critical path.
- Identify and call out risks before projects slip.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to keep projects on track.
- Take notes during planning and retrospective sessions.
- Follow up on action items to ensure progress.
- Help document and improve the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program.
- Experience organizing people and work through an internship, student organization, class project, or personal project.
- Clear, concise writing skills.
- Confidence following up with people until tasks are completed.
- Comfort using Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Figma, and Monday.com.
- Prior exposure to software development, product, or consulting, or a project involving several moving pieces.
- Curiosity about how consumer apps are built and launched.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Los Angeles, California.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office collaboration three days per week.
