About the role#
MAS Building & Bridge is hiring for a Field Engineer Intern or Co-op. This role focuses on heavy-civil construction projects like bridges, rail, and marine work. You will spend your time at the jobsite to gain practical experience by assisting our field engineers with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with layout work and operation planning.
- Handle material procurement and project submissions.
- Participate in quality control planning and site inspections.
- Perform quantity tracking and takeoffs.
- Coordinate with site personnel and subcontractors.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- You are motivated and detail-oriented.
- You have a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle, as our sites are not accessible via public transportation.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Norfolk, Massachusetts.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, for a total of 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
