About the role#
The Maryland Access to Justice Commission (A2JC), powered by the Maryland State Bar Association, is looking for a part-time Communications Intern, Fellow, or Consultant. You will work with our team to support digital communications, design, and website management. This role is a chance for a student or early-career professional to gain experience in nonprofit communications and public interest law.
What you'll do#
- Create graphics, social media assets, and visual content using Canva.
- Perform website updates and content edits on our WordPress site using existing themes.
- Assist with content creation and community engagement on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Plan and schedule social media posts using Metricool.
What you'll need#
- Status as a motivated student or early-career professional.
- An interest in nonprofit communications, public interest law, design, marketing, or digital media.
- Experience with design, content creation, or website management.
- Academic background in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time position requiring 10 hours per week.
- The role is paid at an hourly rate of $15 to $20.
- The term runs from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, on a rolling basis.
