    About the role#

    The Maryland Access to Justice Commission (A2JC), powered by the Maryland State Bar Association, is looking for a part-time Communications Intern, Fellow, or Consultant. You will work with our team to support digital communications, design, and website management. This role is a chance for a student or early-career professional to gain experience in nonprofit communications and public interest law.

    What you'll do#

    • Create graphics, social media assets, and visual content using Canva.
    • Perform website updates and content edits on our WordPress site using existing themes.
    • Assist with content creation and community engagement on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
    • Plan and schedule social media posts using Metricool.

    What you'll need#

    • Status as a motivated student or early-career professional.
    • An interest in nonprofit communications, public interest law, design, marketing, or digital media.
    • Experience with design, content creation, or website management.
    • Academic background in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.

    Location & details#

    • This is a remote, part-time position requiring 10 hours per week.
    • The role is paid at an hourly rate of $15 to $20.
    • The term runs from September 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, on a rolling basis.
