About the role#
Martin Brûlé Studio is hiring an intern to support studio management, logistics, and design operations. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment focused on interior design projects and the management of collectible furniture and art. This role is based in our New York office.
What you'll do#
- Support the Studio Manager with daily operations, including studio organization, supply management, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with expense tracking, invoice organization, and basic accounting tasks.
- Source and collect material samples for the design team.
- Help the Operations Manager with project logistics, including installations, procurement, and managing returns or exchanges.
- Coordinate artwork transport, restoration, and storage.
- Draft condition reports for incoming furniture and artworks.
- Maintain and update inventory records in Artlogic to ensure they remain accessible for sales and exhibitions.
- Conduct research on artworks and collectible furniture within the studio inventory.
What you'll need#
- You are highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- A clear interest in design, furniture, and contemporary art.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English.
- Familiarity with Artlogic is a plus.
