About the role#
As an Assistant Project Coordinator, you will support Project Managers and Superintendents in the delivery of civil construction projects. You will gain exposure to various contract types, including Design Build, Plan and Spec, and Construction Management. This role focuses on maintaining contract documentation, supporting estimating, and assisting with the preparation of budgets and schedules to ensure project quality, safety, and profitability.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain purchase order, shop drawing, submittal, and plan logs.
- Assist with selecting suppliers and sub-trades and obtaining quotations.
- Clarify scopes of work with sub-trades and suppliers.
- Track and manage inventory of supplies to ensure timely delivery.
- Attend site meetings and assist in the completion of project deficiencies.
- Maintain a continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate policy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a related post-secondary program, such as Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Recent graduates who completed studies in 2026 are also eligible.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Pemberton, British Columbia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (8 or 12-month term preferred).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21 - $26 per hour, depending on experience.
- Requirement: A vehicle is required to visit project sites, as locations are not accessible by public transit.
