About the role#
The Maine People's Alliance is hiring Campus Organizing Fellows to boost youth voter turnout for the 2026 election. This is a paid, part-time fellowship for students attending colleges in Maine during the fall semester. The position runs from September 1 through November 15, with the possibility of limited hours continuing into early December.
What you'll do#
- Build get-out-the-vote programs on Maine college campuses.
- Lead voter education initiatives for the student body.
- Help students navigate Maine's same-day voter registration law.
- Engage youth voters to increase participation in the 2026 election.
What you'll need#
- Prior experience in grassroots organizing.
- A solid understanding of voter education strategies.
- Knowledge of Maine laws regarding student voter registration.
- Availability to work up to 10 hours per week.
- Enrollment as a student at a Maine college.
Location & details#
- This role is remote and based in Maine.
- Compensation is $22.12 per hour.
- The position is part-time and temporary.
