About the role#
As a Software Developer Co-op, you will join our engineering team and contribute directly to our digital investigative software. You will be fully integrated into the development process, working on tasks that have a real impact on our products. Some of our key software features were originally built by students in this role.
What you'll do#
- Write code that runs in production.
- Work through bugs to improve software quality.
- Develop basic features as you get comfortable with the codebase.
- Take on complex features as you grow into the role.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, such as Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, or Python.
- A sense of accountability and a willingness to take ownership of your projects.
- A collaborative spirit and an interest in working with others to solve technical challenges.

- Term: Winter 2027.
- Locations: Waterloo, Ontario or Ottawa, Ontario.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with occasional in-person time based on team needs.
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
