Intern, PR & Influencer Relations

About the role#

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is seeking an Intern for the PR & Influencer Relations team. This position is based in the New York office and reports to the Manager of PR & Influencer Marketing. The intern will work closely with the internal PR department to track influencer and media coverage and report on results.

What you'll do#

• Meticulously monitor and tag all influencer coverage using Tribe Dynamics and alert the team to top coverage in real time.
• Conduct daily searches to identify brand placements for inclusion in the Monthly PR Report.
• Collaborate with the PR & Influencer Marketing team to plan and execute large-scale product mailings for influencers, professional makeup artists, and media editors.
• Manage daily product send-outs and maintain the organization of the PR closet.
• Update PR media and influencer lists on an ongoing basis.
• Monitor social media to track industry and competitor news, such as collaborations, mailings, and press trips.
• Assist with special PR projects, including event setup and breakdown, as well as research and support for pro artist relations.

What you'll need#

• Current rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and professional demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry.
• Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently.

• Compensation: Paid internship ($19 - $21/hr).
