About the role#
As a Semiconductor Maintenance Tech Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes. You will work directly with engineers and technicians to ensure equipment runs reliably and efficiently.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including fixturing, calibration, and system walkdowns.
- Perform equipment startups and validations while under supervision.
- Document maintenance activities and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Help develop and update manufacturing process records to support documentation.
- Work within cleanroom or restricted-access areas while following strict safety and contamination control protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve equipment problems and improve process efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for mechatronics, robotics, engineering technology, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical systems, including the ability to troubleshoot them.
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits and electrical fundamentals.
- Intermediate PC skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to apply classroom learning through projects, laboratory work, or research.
- Availability for the full internship period.
