About the role#
Logan Health is hiring a Pharmacist Intern for our inpatient hospital pharmacy in Kalispell, Montana. This is a paid, PRN position that offers flexibility for students or recent graduates. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist to support medication preparation, inventory management, and patient care.
What you'll do#
- Manufacture, compound, package, and label pharmaceuticals, including IV additives and oncology medications.
- Use aseptic techniques to prepare sterile products.
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and obtain verification before distribution.
- Deliver narcotics and maintain accurate documentation of these deliveries.
- Monitor pharmacy stock for outdated medications and manage timely disposal.
- Fill patient orders, medication carts, and floor stock.
- Participate in the Meds to Beds program by delivering and counseling patients.
What you'll need#
- A current Montana Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist Intern license.
- Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred: Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and an understanding of medical terminology and calculations.

- Schedule: PRN (as needed), variable 10-hour shifts.
