About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship position within the Transportation department. You will work under close supervision, receiving specific instructions on tasks and expected results.
What you'll do#
- Perform various engineering assignments.
- Work from designs created by others.
- Compile project data.
- Perform design computations.
- Prepare engineering plans.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in civil or environmental engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.

- This position is based in Houston, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
