About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy and receive training to prepare for a successful career in the field.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to the practice of pharmacy in a community setting.
- Enhance communication skills by interacting with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
- Develop knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills.
- Learn the operational skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current student in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
- Completion of a criminal background check is required.
