About the role#

This part-time pharmacy student position provides practical, hands-on experience within a community pharmacy setting. The role is designed to bridge academic learning with real-world training, preparing students for future success as pharmacists while operating under various retail banners in Ontario.

What you'll do#

• Gain direct exposure to pharmacy practice in a community environment.
• Develop and enhance communication skills by interacting with patients, pharmacy staff, and other health care professionals.
• Expand your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
• Build patient counseling skills, including performing MEDSCHECK under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Learn the operational skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Pharmacy student.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Location: 2877 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $18.60 - $19.55 per hour.
• Status: Part-time, unionized position.
