About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student to join our team in Orillia. This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term. You will support our pharmacy operations by managing automation workflows, maintaining inventory, and assisting with prescription preparation for our patients and nursing home partners.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Healthwatch software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches and manage machine maintenance or troubleshooting.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified levels and assist with inventory counts.
- Process drug recalls and source alternatives when products are unavailable.
- Prepare medication orders, label products, and create blister packs or mixtures.
- Use Kroll software to prepare and label prescriptions.
- Prepare packages for shipment and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely delivery.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions on the fly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to move quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Adaptability to support workflow across different departments.

- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Pay: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
