About the role#
This PEY Co-op role focuses on supporting the discovery, development, and delivery of engineering solutions. You will contribute to continuous business process improvements that help maintain our competitive advantage. This position is a 16-month full-time term.
What you'll do#
- Support project execution by integrating activities and managing controls.
- Use critical thinking to resolve roadblocks and issues within your assignments.
- Build relationships with internal customers to address their concerns.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and methodologies.
- Apply analytical methods to labour standards and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform onsite data collection and in-depth data mining to identify root causes.
- Provide technical information and data to your team.
- Support reporting activities and work closely with various internal and external groups.
- Travel to distribution centers and stores as required to support project needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering, Management of Engineering, or related program.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
- Ability to manipulate data, create flowcharts, and build graphical reports.
- Experience with SQL or Visual Basic is an asset.
- A practical approach to problem-solving using supply chain principles and logic.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and re-prioritize work in a busy environment.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada (60-90% of the time).

- Location: Brampton, Ontario.
- Term: May 3, 2027, to September 1, 2028.
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 1 day remote per week, 4 days in office).
- Salary: $35,100 to $65,700 per year, depending on experience and academic level.
