About the role#
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support our recruitment team with day-to-day hiring activities, focusing on entry-level and campus recruitment. This unpaid internship provides hands-on experience with the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and employer branding. You will work on-site in Wading River, New York, during the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Post and promote open positions on job boards and external platforms.
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
- Support and attend job fairs, campus events, and recruitment initiatives.
- Track event calendars and prepare materials for info sessions and career fairs.
- Manage and update candidate statuses within ADP to ensure accurate tracking.
- Review resumes and identify qualified candidates for entry-level roles.
- Assist with candidate outreach for campus pipelines and early-career roles.
- Support employment verification processes.
- Help with filing, document uploads, and maintaining organized candidate records.
- Provide general administrative support to HR functions.
What you'll need#
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in college with a major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach.
- Genuine interest in recruitment and HR processes.
