About the role#
Lehman Daman Construction Services, Inc. is hiring a Co-Op for the Fall 2027 term. You will gain hands-on experience in estimating projects and developing scopes of work. You will work directly with Account Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, and Superintendents to meet job site and customer needs. As you gain experience, you will contribute to projects from initial planning through construction and final closeout.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside Account Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Estimators.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors from the bid process to job completion.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and job site walkthroughs.
- Travel between job sites, vendor locations, and the home office as needed.
- Track and review shop drawings and other job correspondence.
- Assist with project planning and the implementation of activities and milestones.
- Manage project documentation including safety records, submittals, logs, RFI’s, transmittals, and meeting minutes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited co-op program pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Proficiency with computers and smartphones.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, field staff, subcontractors, and customers.
- Self-motivation and effective time management skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

- Location: Westerville, Ohio.
- Term: Fall 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $23 per hour.
- Status: Paid, full-time position.
