Junior Accountant - Student (September 2026 Start)

About the role#

This is a 4 to 8 month internship position for a Junior Accountant student starting in September 2026. You will join the Finance team and focus on month-end accounting processes, expense variance analysis, and the administration of the company credit card program.

What you'll do#

• Participate in month-end preparation, including schedules, back-up calculations, and journal entries.
• Assist with the preparation of variance reports for monthly budget reporting.
• Support team members by rolling forward monthly schedules.
• Administer the credit card program, including managing employee accounts, sending reminders, and recording expenses.
• Prepare month-end account reconciliations.
• Take on special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently working towards a degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with expert proficiency in Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous internship or Co-op experience is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is an asset.

• Locations: Florence, KY; Cincinnati, OH; Lexington, KY.
