Ledcor Highways is offering a training program for individuals to join their highway maintenance operations. This role provides a fully funded opportunity to upgrade your G class driver license to a DZ driver license. You will receive training to develop the skills required to become a safe and competent winter snowplow operator, with the potential for future full-time or seasonal employment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in highway maintenance tasks during both winter and summer operations.
- Undergo training to upgrade your driver license to a DZ class.
- Perform shift work and remain on-call as required, including night shifts.
- Work in various weather conditions to maintain highway safety.
What you'll need#
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver license without restrictions and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to pass an MTO medical exam and vision screening.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Locations: Sault Ste. Marie, Chapleau, White River, Wawa, Agawa, Hornepayne, Goulais River, and Bruce Mines, Ontario.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
