About the role#
The IT Support Intern supports IT operations at Leap Group. This position offers hands-on experience with systems, internal tools, and technology management within an agency environment. You will work closely with experienced IT team members to maintain infrastructure and support internal users.
What you'll do#
- Respond to IT helpdesk tickets and assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support user setup and account management for new hires and internal moves, including device preparation and access provisioning.
- Assist with maintaining asset inventory, license tracking, and documentation.
- Help monitor systems, backups, and alerts across internal tools and platforms.
- Shadow and learn from experienced IT team members managing infrastructure, security, and hosting environments.
What you'll need#
- Interest in pursuing a career in IT, networking, cybersecurity, or systems administration.
- Comfort navigating both Mac and PC environments.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and ticketing systems.
- Strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with technical and non-technical teammates.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
