About the role#
Lawtons Drugs is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician (Student) in Fredericton. This role offers a progressive learning experience in pharmacy operations, administration, and professional services. You will assist in daily pharmacy activities while completing your training.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional pharmacy tasks appropriate to your level of education.
- Assemble prescriptions, perform data entry, and file prescriptions.
- Process customer transactions and receive or release prescriptions.
- Manage drug orders, including creation, receiving, and replenishing supplies.
- Handle compounding and pill pack assembly.
- Answer phones and promote profile programs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy area.
- Follow all applicable company standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program from a recognized institution.
- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Above average oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
