About the role#
Landis+Gyr offers a co-op program that integrates academic study with hands-on work experience. This position is a paid, full-time role based on-site in Lafayette, Indiana. You will participate in a rotating three-semester schedule, alternating work semesters with your academic terms. The first rotation begins in January 2027.
What you'll do#
Your work focuses on the General Engineering Lab, where you will support compliance testing and test system automation. Responsibilities include:
- Perform compliance testing and apply revenue meter theory.
- Collect, evaluate, and analyze technical data.
- Interpret domestic and international test standards and procedures.
- Manage test equipment calibration and certification.
- Design, assemble, and integrate systems for test automation.
- Evaluate components, assemblies, and products.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- An expected graduation date of 2028 or later to accommodate the three-semester rotation.
- Ability to work on-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Proficiency with personal computers and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
