About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join us for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under the direct supervision of Electrical Engineers on projects involving facilities design and construction management. These projects are multi-disciplinary and cover civil, mechanical, and electrical work. You will gain exposure to internal and external stakeholders while learning key engineering techniques and processes.
What you'll do#
- Work on multiple assignments and manage tasks independently.
- Communicate and interface with team members.
- Assist engineers and CAD designers with project design documentation, calculations, research, and reports.
- Help develop standard operational department procedures, drawing standards, and details.
- Support the preparation of project cost estimates and final reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering as a sophomore or junior.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Availability to work extra hours or overtime when projects require.
- Willingness to travel up to 20 percent of the time based on project needs.
