About the role#
The Lafayette Aviators are looking for a Ticket Sales Intern to help drive attendance for upcoming baseball games. This role provides hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and marketing. You will work with the team to learn about sales strategies and the ticketing process. This is an unpaid internship for college credit that runs from January 2027 through April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Promote and sell tickets for Lafayette Aviators baseball games.
- Talk to customers over the phone, through email, and in person to answer questions about events and ticketing.
- Help run marketing campaigns to increase ticket sales.
- Track sales and customer interactions using our ticketing software and HubSpot.
- Work with the team to brainstorm and put sales strategies into action.
- Organize and attend promotional events and community outreach efforts.
- Provide customer service to build loyalty and satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and interest in sports.
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team.

About Lafayette Aviators
The Lafayette Aviators are a baseball team that competes in the Prospect League. This collegiate summer league organization plays its home games at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, Indiana. Founded in 2015, the team began its first season of play in 2016. MKE Sports and Entertainment owns and operates the franchise, which maintains a staff of 15 employees.
