About the role#
LaBella Associates is hiring a Land Development Intern for our Syracuse office. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027. You will work within our Civil Division to gain practical experience in civil engineering and land development processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with site plans, drawings, and technical documents.
- Support project teams with design development, basic calculations, and data organization.
- Perform project-related research and gather field information through site visits and observations.
- Help prepare reports and permit support materials.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project coordination.
- Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Less than 1 year of work-related experience.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and occasionally perform physical tasks such as lifting 25 pounds or navigating stairs and ladders at project sites.
