About the role#
Kruger Products is hiring Engineering Co-Ops and Interns for the Summer 2027 term at our Memphis, Tennessee manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, hands-on program where students work directly with engineers, operators, and maintenance teams. You will contribute to real business projects that impact plant operations, safety, and production efficiency.
What you'll do#
Depending on your specific project assignment, you may work on tasks such as:
- Manufacturing process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Reliability, maintenance, and equipment performance analysis.
- Process controls, automation, and electrical systems improvement.
- Energy and utility projects.
- Safety and risk reduction initiatives.
- Data analysis and problem-solving.
- Developing standard operating procedures.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S, and operational excellence projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least the second semester of your freshman year by Summer 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated initiative through project teams, work experience, student organizations, athletics, or leadership roles.
- A genuine interest in industrial operations, automation, reliability, or engineering design.
